Harvest Nano
Textile Waste → High-Value Materials
Harvest Nano develops technologies and systems for post-consumer textile waste. The platform connects:
Smart Sorting → PFAS / Contamination-Aware Processing → Cellulose → Microcellulose → Nanocellulose
The objective is to preserve reusable textiles wherever possible, intelligently route what remains, manage contamination risks, and recover higher-value materials from textile waste that can no longer serve its original purpose.
Harvest Nano has built and demonstrated a functioning textile-processing pilot system and produced physical cellulose, microcellulose, and nanocellulose materials from post-consumer textiles. The technology brings together protected intellectual property, confidential know-how, trade secrets, process integration, machine architecture, operating experience, testing data, and scale-up knowledge into a physical system designed to work with complex real-world textile streams.

From Lab to Material
Getting from post-consumer textiles to nanocellulose runs through the same applied plant-science research, growth-chamber work, and tissue-culture and cellulose development that underlies the rest of this work, together with the plant-derived product development experience gained earlier in Dr. Aharon’s career. Each stage of that path, from laboratory characterization to pilot-scale processing, feeds directly into the Smart Sorting, contamination-aware processing, and material recovery steps that make up the Harvest Nano platform today.
